Thought for Today
"Baptized in water, sealed by the Spirit, cleansed by the blood of Christ our king; Heirs of salvation, trusting his promise, Faithfully now God's praise we sing." Baptized in Water, Hymn 614
As the Ethiopian Eunuch was baptized in water, so are we baptized in the Spirit and blood of Christ when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior.
Being the Church The church is not a building, but a body of believers with a specific nature and purpose.
Bible Studies We are currently watching & studying the third season of "The Chosen"
Community We work in our Community to get God's Word Out to Everyone. We provide many community events throughout the Year.
Praise & Worship
We are the Church! We are out in our community sharing God's Word. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.Missions
OUMC provides many mission projects throughout the year in our area and beyond. Salvation Army, Homeless Shelter, Harbor House, East Elementary School-NP, Dress-a-Child, Share-a-Christmas, Heifer International, Food PantryGroup Fellowship

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! John 8:24 unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.Hope
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Jeremiah 29: 11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13: 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Prayer
Creator of the universe, you made the world in beauty, and restore all things in glory through the victory of Jesus Christ. We pray that, wherever your image is still disfigured by poverty, sickness, selfishness, war and greed, the new creation in Jesus Christ may appear in justice, love, and peace, to the glory of your name.
Amen.
