Thought for Today
1 John 4:9 tells us that "This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him." And in Matthew 22: 37-38, Jesus tells the disciples: "...Love the Lord your God with al your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself." In this time of upheaval in the U.S., we need to remember these teachings more than ever.
Being the Church The church is not a building, but a body of believers with a specific nature and purpose.
Bible Studies We have watched & studied three seasons of "The Chosen" so far. Stay tuned to see what comes next!
Community We work in our Community to get God's Word Out to Everyone. We provide many community events throughout the Year.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! John 8:24 unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.Hope
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Jeremiah 29: 11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13: 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Prayer
"Heavenly Father, source of all love and peace, we come before you today humbly asking that you fill our hearts with your boundless love and grace. Let your peace reign within us, guiding our thoughts and actions towards harmony and understanding. Help us to be instruments of your love in the world, spreading kindness and compassion wherever we go. May we forgive readily, love deeply, and always seek to bring peace to those around us. In Jesus' name, Amen."
(Generative AI prayer for love and peace)
