Thought for Today
As believers in Christ, we are called to be faithful followers of His example. In Matthew 22: 37-40, Jesus says that the greatest commandment is to "love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind". He follows this with the commandment to "Love your neighbor as yourself". If we do these things, we are being faithful, and that faithfulness will show in our actions.
Being the Church The church is not a building, but a body of believers with a specific nature and purpose.
Bible Studies We have watched & studied three seasons of "The Chosen" so far. Stay tuned to see what comes next!
Community We work in our Community to get God's Word Out to Everyone. We provide many community events throughout the Year.
Praise & Worship
We are the Church! We are out in our community sharing God's Word. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.Missions
OUMC provides many mission projects throughout the year in our area and beyond. Salvation Army, Homeless Shelter, Harbor House, East Elementary School-NP, Dress-a-Child, Share-a-Christmas, Heifer International, Food PantryGroup Fellowship

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! John 8:24 unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.Hope
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Jeremiah 29: 11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13: 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Help us to love one another as you loved us, and to show that love in our actions, not just in our words. Help us to follow Jesus' example as we walk through this world. And help us to be an example of your faithfullness in all we say and do. In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen
