Thought for Today
Psalm 27:14 reminds us to "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Much like a loving parent, He will always provide for our good. Also like a parent, His answer may not be what we expect or even want, but it will be what is best for us in the long run.
Being the Church The church is not a building, but a body of believers with a specific nature and purpose.
Bible Studies We have watched & studied three seasons of "The Chosen" so far. Stay tuned to see what comes next!
Community We work in our Community to get God's Word Out to Everyone. We provide many community events throughout the Year.
Praise & Worship
We are the Church! We are out in our community sharing God's Word. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.Missions
OUMC provides many mission projects throughout the year in our area and beyond. Salvation Army, Homeless Shelter, Harbor House, East Elementary School-NP, Dress-a-Child, Share-a-Christmas, Heifer International, Food PantryGroup Fellowship

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! John 8:24 unless you believe that I am who I claim to be, you will die in your sins.Hope
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Jeremiah 29: 11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13: 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we pray that you help us to remember that no matter what our troubles, either as individuals or as a nation, You can and do work good out of even the worst circumstances. Help us to encourage each other in our faith so that we don't falter and begin to doubt. While the good doesn't always happen on our timeline, You have promised to work for the good of all who believe. Remind us that You always keep Your promises.
Amen.
Fellowship Time is before church at 10:00am. Coffee / Cookies / Snacks
